Why Sanskrit is the easiest second language for an Indian
When people hear "Sanskrit" they imagine a mountain of grammar. The truth is - if you already speak an Indian language, you already know half the vocabulary. Words like pustakam (book), jalam (water), mitram (friend) are already sitting in your head under their regional names.
The trick is to stop memorising and start speaking. In our beginner batch we run speaking drills from week one. By week four you are introducing yourself, telling the time, and reading simple shlokas without cheat-sheets.
If you are thinking about Sanskrit - just start. The grammar is deep, yes, but the surface is friendlier than any European language you will meet.
